What We Do
Seed and Seedlings
We face critically low seed supplies which creates a bottleneck for reforestation. We operate the largest seed bank in the western United States and grow 30M+ seedlings annually at our two nurseries.
No-Cost Reforestation
We help landowners restore their forestland after wildfires using reforestation tech. We work directly with landowners and partner with consulting foresters.

In 2021, the Harris Mountain fire burned the majority of the 5,200-acre Sheep Creek Ranch in Cascade County, Montana. Determined to see his property restored, owner Don hired Zack Bashoor, a local forester to explore reforestation.
For Foresters
While the Mast team was working in Montana, one name kept coming up again and again - Zack Bashoor, a local forester.
After long talks strategizing solutions for the challenges of post-wildfire reforestation, a partnership was forged.
Today, Mast Reforestation and Zack Bashoor’s Montana Forest Consultants are working to reforest 2,700 acres together just outside of Yellowstone National Park.
